Who Is This Course For?

This course is not just for triathletes. This course is for ANY endurance athlete that is looking to take nutrition into their own hands, elevate their performance through nutrition and achieve the desired outcomes in their training by optimizing their nutrition. Nutrition periodization teaches athletes to align daily and training nutrition practices to support the varying energy needs of athletes as they progress through different training cycles throughout the year. If an athlete can successfully align their nutrition to support their physical training volume and intensity changes, they will be able to manipulate body weight and body composition better, have a stronger immune system, recover faster, improve performance, and develop a higher level of metabolic efficiency.


Meet Your Instructor

Bob is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, the former Director of Sports Nutrition for the University of Florida and served as a Sport Dietitian for the US Olympic Committee. In 2008, Bob traveled to the Summer Olympic Games as a Sport Dietitian for the US Olympic Team and was the personal Sport Dietitian/Exercise Physiologist for the Olympic Triathlon Team.

Bob has a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science, a master's degree in Health and Exercise Science and a second master's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He is a Registered Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a USA Triathlon Level III Elite Coach.

As a nutrition coach, Bob specializes in enhancing health and improving performance by improving metabolic efficiency and using nutrition periodization, which provides varying nutrition recommendations to each specific athlete based on training cycle changes and body composition, weight, and specific health goals. As an endurance coach, exercise physiologist and strength and conditioning specialist, Bob specializes in leading athletes to optimal performance through the use of science and real-life training applications that balance life, work and family.
